ABOUT US

House of Marlborough is a trade resource for interior designers and architects who need materials with real character and the reliability to back it up. We source and supply reclaimed 19th century European oak flooring alongside jute carpets and wool carpets woven here in Britain, for projects where the floor has to do more than sit quietly underfoot.

Every board and every weave is chosen for its provenance as much as its performance: oak with a hundred years of history in its grain, fibres that are honestly and sustainably sourced, and a finish that holds up to scrutiny from the most exacting specification. It's flooring built to be the foundation of a considered scheme, not an afterthought.

A BESPOKE SERVICE

Specifications rarely fit a standard order, and we don't expect them to. We work directly with designers and architects from concept through to installation — matching reclaimed European oak to a project's palette, sourcing Indian jute and British wool in the right weight and weave, and problem-solving the details that a brochure can't anticipate.

Our creative director and project managers act as an extension of your team, on hand for samples, technical queries and site visits, so that what's specified on paper arrives exactly as intended on site.
